Niko was hit by a car and killed when she was only 18 months old. It was a very sad day. We had searched for her for 3 days and had barely gotten a glimpse of her the day before she was killed. Our hopes were dashed the next morning when a man responded to our lost dog flyers posted all around the neighborhood. Although this was a tragedy, I am so thankful to all of the neighbors who looked for Niko and called us everytime they saw her and offered their help. It was greatly appreciated.
Niko was way too young to go, but we never have a say in these things. We know she will be waiting just over the rainbow bridge to be reunited with her pack once again. We miss you Niko.
